Abstract works can be difficult to express in words. For this new collections of paintings Neung uses no explicit theme, but goes back to basic feelings. He has selected a palatte of colours which are bright and full of warmth.
These paintings need to be felt as well as seen; not with your fingers but with your emotions. The paint is layered and swirled, sometimes incorporating overlaid gold leaf, all blending together to create a harmonious montage. Many of these canvases have been built up and layered over years as Neung has played and new developed ideas over the top.
